As a teen, Jodia Finnagan volunteered at Rosie's Place, serving the homeless Thanksgiving dinner. This Thanksgiving, she wonders who will feed her.
Jodia's is one of approximately 10,500 families in Massachusetts who are homeless and the number continues to grow.
With shelters full, the state uses motels to house hundreds of families. Tewksbury's Motel 6 is home to 16 families. With no where to go, children play among the motel's corridors. Their laughter momentarily drowns out the sound of adjacent Route 495.
